MOUSE: P.I. For Hire

Great style and atmosphere held back by combat that doesn't really feel satisfying.

I like old stuff. Old music, old cartoons, and MOUSE is just that. The artstyle it has is amazing, the music is great, but, one thing that I found bad was the combat. For a shooting game, the combat just didn’t feel satisfying enough. The weapons felt weightless.

I ended up using only a few of the guns--the worst weapon in the game (in my opinion) is the Devarnisher. It doesn't feel like it does a lot of damage.

Another thing I noticed is that some enemies take a lot of hits, like, 6-8 shotgun shots, just to kill.

Overall, I’d recommend it if you like story shooters and old cartoons, just don’t expect good gunplay.
